NEXIQ USB-Link 2 Diagnostic Interface | Multi-brand for Trucks and Heavy Fleets
NEXIQ USB-Link 2 Diagnostic Interface | Multi-brand for Trucks and Heavy Fleets
What is the NEXIQ USB-Link 2 — and what is it used for
The NEXIQ USB-Link 2 is the most widely used multi-brand diagnostic interface in heavy truck fleets worldwide. Compatible with all commercial truck protocols — J1939, J1708/J1587, ISO 15765 (CAN), ISO 9141/KWP2000 — it connects the technician's computer to virtually any heavy vehicle manufactured from 2004 onwards, regardless of brand or system.
Five times faster than the previous version, with sixteen times more RAM, the USB-Link 2 supports heavier bus loads and multiple simultaneous channels. The integrated Bluetooth module allows wireless communication with a data rate of 500K b/s J1939 — up to 30 meters range.
The USB connector has been reinforced to automotive grade with a locking mechanism.
⚠️ Important warning: The USB-Link 2 cannot be firmware updated after purchase — updating will damage the multiplexer.
