The workbench every mechanic was missing

ECM Tech Center was born inside the workshop, providing technical support to truck mechanics. Working with workshops and fleets day in and day out, we noticed that a vehicle off the road almost always had the same cause: a faulty electronic module. A new part is expensive, a used one comes with no warranty, and professional repair, done with a proper method, a technical report and bench testing, was hard to find in Brazil.

So we decided to build that workbench. We brought together electronics technicians, logistics people and those who live and breathe mechanic support, and set up a structure so that a faulty module is no longer the end of the road: it works again, with a warranty and with someone on the other end to explain what was done.

What we do

  • Electronic module repair: ECU, BCM, TCM, ABS, instrument clusters and more, with diagnosis, a technical report and bench testing before the module goes back to the customer.
  • New and tested used modules: for when replacement is the best way forward.
  • Diagnostic and programming interfaces: OEM tools (the brand's official diagnostics) and multi-brand tools, with guidance to help you choose the right one.
  • Remote technical support: help to solve the problem on the vehicle itself, with us following along on WhatsApp.
  • Technical training: in preparation, to bring the knowledge from our workbench to the people in the workshop.

We are five partners working out of two workshops, one in Tabuleiro do Norte, Ceará, and another in Curitiba, Paraná. Modules come and go through Correios (the Brazilian postal service) from anywhere in Brazil, and we also receive modules shipped from abroad, with service in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

To put vehicles back on the road through technical repair of electronic modules, tested parts and real support for the people who do the maintenance, raising the standard of automotive electronics wherever our customers are.
