Internally, it features a main processor, an AM29BL802CB EPROM memory (injection and calibration maps), a cruise control circuit, an internal atmospheric pressure sensor, a piezoelectric crystal for time reference, and a dedicated circuit for the RPM sensor and RAIL pressure sensor. Failures in the AM29BL802CB cause loss of calibration and a non-starting engine.
