Bosch EDC 15C6 ECU — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter CDI (OM611 Engine)

The Bosch EDC 15C6 is the electronic injection control unit used in 4-cylinder OM611 CDI engines, equipping the first-generation common rail diesel Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models in Brazil. It manages four independent injection channels, the starter relay, the main relay, the high-pressure pump shut-off actuator, and the turbocharger boost pressure regulator.

Internally, it features a PSOP memory (injection and calibration maps), a dedicated processor, a CAN circuit, separate RAM, and an A/D converter for sensor signals. A PSOP failure causes loss of calibration — resulting in a non-starting engine or one that enters limp mode.
